The weather has been warming up and spring has sprung! The crews were here this morning and started the evaporative coolers that were scheduled for the spring start-up. Please start your evaporative coolers and run them for a while so that we can make sure everything is working properly. With everyone testing the coolers so quickly, if we need to call the start-up crew back, we can have them correct the issues while under warranty and before things heat up. If you have not paid the 2021 Cooler Cost Sharing please keep in mind, payments should not be sent in with your monthly carrying charge. To be properly credited, they can be dropped off with Louise in Unit D11, and you will be provided a receipt. Or you can mail cooler cost share payments to:
GNC Management
PO Box 95
Sahuarita, AZ 85629
Please notate your unit number and that it’s for the cooler on the check.
We are also getting the pool ready for the summer season! The end of April you may notice crews working on our pool. They will be draining the pool and cleaning the calcium/mineral buildup off the tiles, cleaning the pool itself and refilling it with fresh clean water! The pool house will be repainted and the pool deck recoated. We will try to get photos up on our website so those who are away for the summer can see the improvements to our community!
The new washers/dryers have been installed in both laundry rooms. You now have a couple of options to pay, we are able to use either credit cards or cash. And with our new contract we are starting to see a little income for our community from our laundry facility. Our lawns will also be getting their spring weed and feed to green up for summer. Once that has been completed, we will be watering a little more to green everything up and then turn back the watering schedule to be less often again. We do ask that while we are feeding and watering the lawns people avoid walking on the them to give them time to green up.
With the Covid-19 restrictions lessoning a bit we will be having our Annual meeting May 23 at 10am in the Ramada. So that we can insure appropriate distancing and safety protocols we will not be having a potluck. You will be getting additional information regarding our annual meeting in the mail.
We would like to thank all our volunteers for the countless hours you contribute to making our community the best! We couldn’t do everything we do to improve our community without all of you! Thank you! And a special thank you to Leonard, Greg and Kevin for working hard planting donated cactus and plants throughout our community.
